CrossFit is a general strength and conditioning program defined as “constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity.” In layman’s terms, we run, jump, climb, lift, and throw. We will teach you to safely move your body in space, and then to control external objects including dumbbells, barbells, medicine balls, and kettlebells. Our workouts build over time, designed to keep you progressing long-term.

The goal of CrossFit is to build broad, general and inclusive fitness. We simultaneously develop all 10 general physical skills: accuracy, agility, balance, cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, coordination, flexibility/mobility, muscular endurance, muscular strength, power, and speed. Our workouts can be scaled to individuals of all ability levels, whether you’re a reformed couch potato or a high level athlete. We deliver results based fitness and track all of our workouts so that in addition to your physical results, you’ll have data to show the progress you’ve made.

Olympic Weightlifting

Our Olympic Weightlifting program here at CrossFit Relentless is designed to have great crossover to our daily CrossFit programming. We meet 3 times a week per cycle, and our cycles last from 6-10 weeks. Each cycle has its own unique focus, be it squat strength, speed, or the occasional beginner cycle. As with our CrossFit program, we place particular emphasis on position and form. Our weightlifting classes last about 90 minutes. Additionally, since everyone is different, we often give our athletes individual “homework” to do before or after classes. Due to the stimulus that comes with Olympic weightlifting programming, we typically take a 1-2 week break between cycles, where we like to test the lifts in a mock weightlifting meet environment, or by encouraging members to compete in a USA Weightlifting sanctioned meet.

CrossFit Teens

CrossFit Teens is designed to help our teens (ages 11-16) learn to move in their growing bodies. We focus on proper movement patterns and coordination. After building a solid movement foundation, we focus on agility, strength, speed, and explosive power – qualities that are applicable to all sports. This is a general physical preparedness program, akin to offseason training.

Classes are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5-6 PM, and the general format is as follows:
Skill/Strength Work

Workouts and progress are tracked both by our coach, and by Wodify, our back-end administrative software. In addition to physically experiencing their progress, our teens can look back over time using Wodify and see how far they’ve progressed.
